While the update to MIUI 12.5 hasn’t reached all Xiaomi smartphones yet, it’s no secret that the manufacturer is already developing MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12.
Originally, the new version of the interface was expected with the release of Mi MIX 4, but that didn’t happen. Apparently, the sheer volume of problems with MIUI 12 and MIUI 12.5 ended up forcing the Chinese giant to delay the launch of MIUI 13.
Clearly, they want to do everything possible to make the release as smooth as possible, with minimal errors and bugs.
The brand’s CEO, Lei Jun has already confirmed that the new update will be made official before the end of the year, but ended up not confirming official dates. Everything indicates that the first smartphones to arrive with MIUI 13 will be the new Xiaomi 12. For now, it is only known that the update is already being tested on several smartphones (China):
- Mi Mix 4
- Mi 11 / 11 Ultra / 11 Lite
- Mi 10S
- Redmi K40 / K40 Pro / K40 Pro+
Now, more information has emerged about a possible list of Xiaomi’s first smartphones that will receive the MIUI 13. The information was advanced by leaker Abhishek Yadav on Twitter.
