The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is one of the South Korean company’s most anticipated smartphones for 2020, largely due to the success of the Galaxy S20 FE in 2020. Fans expect the same price/quality ratio and various rumors have pointed for Samsung to use the same recipe this year.
As the next Galaxy Unpacked event on August 11 approaches, many have been speculating about the possibility that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will also be released at the same event. However, a new source discards this hypothesis.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will only be unveiled in the last quarter of 2021
According to the LetsGoDigital website, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will not be revealed at the Galaxy Unpacked event. According to the source, who claims to have had access to the South Korean manufacturer’s documentation on the release schedule, the new smartphone will not be revealed yet this summer, with the launch only expected to take place in October, or even later.
This scenario turns out to be similar to the Galaxy S20 FE, which was announced in October 2020 in an online event dedicated to this purpose. Samsung should highlight the most affordable smartphone of the S21 line, following a strategy that worked very well this year, as it coincided with the launch of the OnePlus 8T, a rival smartphone.
As for the Aug. 11 Galaxy Unpacked, there are still plenty of reasons why tech fans should get excited. Samsung will unveil to the world at this event the new generation of foldable smartphones, namely the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, which will be accompanied by the launch of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic smart watches, as well as the Galaxy Buds 2 wireless headsets.
