Google recently unveiled the design of its new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro , confirming that the new smartphones will be unveiled in October and also making known which processor will equip them.
The new pair of high-end smartphones will arrive in October (with a date still to be confirmed), but Google itself remains active in its promotion, now turning to Instagram to remind its fans that something special is on the way.
Google Pixel 6 will be designed for the “Certified Pixel Lover”
With its publication on the social network Instagram (via handle @madebygoogle ), Google took advantage of the hype surrounding the release of Drake’s new album to promote one of the interesting features of Android 12 and Pixel 6.
In the shared image, we can see 12 Pixel 6 lined up in a 4 x 3 grid, all revealing different system colors, with the Material You design . This is one of the new features of Android 12, which will make the system adapt its colors to the background image chosen by the user, maintaining a consistent user experience throughout the system.
The description that accompanies the image reads “ Certified Pixel Lover”, which, combined with the image, becomes a clear reference to Drake’s new album, with the name Certified Lover Boy , and whose cover features 12 pregnant emojis on multiple colors and aligned in the same way as Pixel 6.
The new Pixel 6 will hit the market in October and, currently, we already know its design and its processor. Google Tensor is the chip developed by the technology giant for new smartphones and promises to prove to be a benchmark in terms of image processing and artificial intelligence.
Rumors about smartphones indicate that the Pixel 6 should come with a 6.4-inch OLED screen, with Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate, while the more powerful Pixel 6 Pro should feature a 6.7-inch OLED screen, with resolution Quad HD+ and 120 Hz refresh rate.
Another long-awaited innovation in the new terminals from Google is related to their cameras. Both are expected to have a 50MP Samsung GN1 main camera, accompanied by a 12MP wide-angle camera. The Pro version will also have the right to a 48MP telephoto camera.
