Honor promised to try to conquer the smartphone market, and the Honor Magic4 Ultimate is proof that this was not a bottomless promise.
After presenting their new range of high-end smartphones in February (globally), the former Huawei subsidiary launched these models in China today. However, in their home market, they decided to surprise fans with a new model, the Honor Magic4 Ultimate.
As you would expect, this super top of the range is practically identical to the Pro model, but it arrives with a very important detail in its photographic module. Despite keeping a 50MP main sensor, it has a dimension of 1/1.12″ inch and arrives combined with an improved lens.
The lens has an 8P design with an f/1.6 aperture, with improved central and peripheral definition by up to 37%. These improvements bring immediate practical results, and the proof of this is that the Honor Magic4 Ultimate immediately jumped to the 1st position in the DxO Mark ranking, leaving the Huawei P50 Pro in second place.
The differences also extend to the ultra wide-angle lens, which comes with a better 64MP sensor (1/2″ inch)
Unfortunately, no information was revealed about a possible global launch of this new model, but in China it will arrive with a base price of 1,140 euros.
